Countries & Governments Hold 2.5% of Bitcoin’s Total Supply

Data from Bitbo shows that 8 governments officially hold a total of 516,336 Bitcoin, valued at around $31 billion. This might not represent the real figures, as a lot of governments might choose not to disclose their holdings, including North Korea, Iran, Russia, Venezuela and other countries that suffer or have suffered from western sanctions.

Worth noting that Germany have recently sold 50,000 BTC it seized from movie piracy website, movie2k, generating around $2.87 billion.
