Ubisoft Joins Forces with Immutable for Web3 Card Game ‘Might & Magic: Fates’

Ubisoft is teaming up with Immutable to bring a new blockchain-powered card game to life. ‘Might & Magic: Fates’ will blend classic strategy gameplay with modern blockchain tech. It allows players to trade NFT cards and dive into a skill-based gaming world.

The game will be available on both iOS and Android. Expect fresh mechanics, faction-based strategies, and a wide range of legendary heroes and creatures. Players can collect, trade, and customize their decks using hundreds of cards. The goal is to build unique strategies and compete in a skill-driven environment.

“It’s free-to-play with no major progression barriers,” says Justin Hulog, Immutable’s chief studio officer. Players earn in-game currency and cards as they play. If they want to progress faster or get specific cards, they can buy or trade on dedicated marketplaces.

Immutable, a leading Web3 gaming platform, will provide the blockchain infrastructure. Known for titles like ‘Gods Unchained’ and ‘Guild of Guardians,’ Immutable ensures players have true ownership of in-game assets via blockchain.

Ubisoft has already made strides in integrating Web3 elements into their games. They launched ‘Champions Tactics: Grimoria’ and ‘Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E.’ both incorporating blockchain tech for a more immersive gaming experience.
