Ankr and TON Team Up: A Game-Changer for Developers on Telegram

Ankr, a major player in Web3 infrastructure, has partnered with The Open Network (TON) blockchain to make it much easier for developers to create decentralized applications (DApps) for Telegram users. This exciting integration will take away the hassle of managing nodes on the TON network, saving developers precious time and energy.

With around 950 million users on Telegram, the opportunity for DApps is massive. Popular games like Hamster Kombat have already seen explosive growth, attracting over 300 million players. These Mini Apps run smoothly within Telegram, leveraging TON’s robust blockchain capabilities.

Ankr will introduce remote procedure calls (RPCs), allowing developers to connect directly to the TON network. This means they can easily handle tasks like executing transactions and checking wallet balances. The TON RPC endpoints will be part of a global network, ensuring fast and reliable access.

Chandler Song, co-founder and CEO of Ankr, expressed enthusiasm for this partnership, emphasizing that it removes obstacles for developers and paves the way for new innovations.

While TON already offers its own RPC services, Ankr’s integration simplifies the management of nodes, enabling developers to focus more on building exciting applications.

Moreover, the TON Foundation has selected Axelar’s Mobius Development Stack (MDS) to link its ecosystem with 68 different networks, making it easier for developers to create cross-chain DApps without the complexities of bridging.

In a further boost to the TON ecosystem, the blockchain recently secured a $30 million investment from crypto exchange Bitget and Foresight Ventures, aimed at accelerating the development of applications, especially in gaming.
