Grab a Cab and Pay with Ton on Tada Singapore

Tada Integrates Crypto Payments for Singapore Rides

Ride-hailing app Tada has teamed up with the TON Foundation to enable crypto payments for rides in Singapore. Users can now book rides through a Telegram Mini App and pay with Toncoin or Tether (USDT).

Crypto Payments for Rides

Tada, which operates in several Southeast Asian countries, has launched a new feature within Telegram, allowing users to book rides and pay using TON, a blockchain platform. Payments can be made with TON’s native token, Toncoin, or with Tether, a popular stablecoin.

Expanding Adoption of Web3

This partnership marks a significant step in integrating Web3 technology—the decentralized version of the internet—into everyday services. According to Harvey Kim, head of Korea at TON Foundation, the goal is to make Web3 solutions accessible by partnering with well-known Web2 platforms, like Tada, that people are already comfortable using.

At the upcoming TOKEN2049 event in Singapore, attendees can enjoy free or discounted rides through the Tada Mini App, using Toncoin or USDT to pay.
