This isn’t the first time Curve Finance has been targeted by scammers on the Apple store. Back on February 14, Curve Finance issued a warning to its community on X, clarifying that no official Curve Finance app exists in the app store and urging users to be cautious.
The previous fake, listed under the developer name “MK Technology,” was designed to look convincing. It even boasted a 4.6-star rating and had nine reviews, promoting itself as a “powerful app” for managing borrowers and loans. By using Curve’s logo and brand style, the app appeared legitimate enough to deceive users.
This latest reappearance serves as a reminder for users to stay alert and report any suspicious apps they encounter.
Footnote: DeFi (Decentralized Finance) enables financial transactions on blockchain networks without traditional banks or intermediaries, making platforms like Curve Finance attractive targets for scams.
