PancakeSwap Unveils One-Click Crosschain Swaps

PancakeSwap now lets you swap tokens across chains with just one click.

It’s using Across Protocol, which removes the need for clunky bridges and confusing steps. You stay on PancakeSwap the whole time. No more hopping around.

Instead of locking tokens in smart contracts, Across uses “relayers” who front the transaction and get paid later. They move your assets safely from one chain to another. That means fewer risks and less time wasted.

You can now swap tokens between BNB Chain, Arbitrum, and Base—all without leaving PancakeSwap.

Why’s this big? Because bridges have been hacked before. Ronin Bridge lost over $600 million in 2022. Nobody wants that again.

Chef Kids, the top chef at PancakeSwap, says intent-based swaps are safer. They don’t lock your funds. They get settled instantly by the network.

This also makes DeFi easier for big institutions. Fewer risks. Faster operations. Less setup.

Across’s co-founder thinks this model can bring more big players into DeFi. It’s clean, secure, and doesn’t need fancy tech skills to use.

Other protocols are racing to catch up. Unichain proposed ERC-7683, a new standard that makes it easier to handle orders across chains. Even Ethereum’s Vitalik Buterin supports it.

Across already powers swaps on UniswapX with 30 fast-acting solvers. The average time for a swap? Just 3 seconds.

Meanwhile, 1inch just dropped an update called Pathfinder, promising faster swaps and better rates.

DeFi is leveling up. And PancakeSwap just hit a new milestone.
