A hacker linked to the $235 million WazirX crypto exchange hack moved $6.5 million in stolen funds through the sanctioned crypto mixer Tornado Cash. According to blockchain security platform Cyvers, the hacker transferred 2,600 Ether (ETH) in 26 transactions within an hour starting on Sept. 2. The wallet, which initially held $6.7 million, now has only $154,000 left. This news comes as WazirX allows users to withdraw up to 66% of their Indian Rupee (INR) token balances earlier than scheduled.
