Hamster Kombat Token Takes a Nose Dive After Airdrop

The Hamster Kombat token has dropped nearly 60% since its launch on September 26, 2024. It started at about $0.012 on exchanges like Binance but is now trading below $0.0058, just after a major airdrop meant to reward players of the mini-game on Telegram. Airdrop Issues Disappointment set in quickly after the airdrop. Of the 300 million players, only about 131 million received tokens, and 2.3 million were banned for cheating

Many players felt unfairly treated by unexpected eligibility changes, and reports showed that some influencers received more tokens than average players. Additionally, a portion of the tokens will be locked for ten months, a tactic known as vesting, which left many feeling undervalued.
Community Backlash
The community reacted strongly, using hashtags like #BoycottHamster to voice their frustrations. Many feel their dedication has gone unrecognized, predicting they may only earn about $10 each from their tokens—far less than expected.

Future plans despite these challenges, Hamster Kombat is moving forward with plans for an “Interlude Season” to transition into the next phase of the game. The developers hope to rebuild trust and enhance the gaming experience for their still-large user base.
