Trump Demands Lightning-Fast Vote on Crypto Law

Trump wants the House to pass the GENIUS Act with zero changes—and he wants it fast. The Senate already approved it 68–30. The law would regulate how stablecoins* are made and traded in the U.S.

Trump called the bill “incredible” and a chance for America to become the “undisputed” crypto leader. On Truth Social, he shouted:

“NO DELAYS, NO ADD ONS. This is American Brilliance!”

But the House? Not so fast. Some members want to pair it with other bills like the STABLE or CLARITY Acts. Others want tighter rules.

Why? Critics say the Trump family is knee-deep in crypto. The GENIUS Act, even after edits, lets the president and their families join stablecoin projects.

Also, Trump’s own platform, World Liberty Financial, made him $57 million from its stablecoin—USD1. It’s now the 8th largest in the world.

That’s got people talking.

Senator Warren warned this bill could give Big Tech a free pass to spy on your purchases and squeeze out small players.

Some Republicans want the bill done by July 4. Others want to mix it into a bigger crypto plan.

Will the GENIUS Act pass as-is—or turn into a political hot potato? 🍿

*Stablecoins are cryptocurrencies that are tied to a fixed asset, like the US dollar, to avoid wild price swings.
